Three of Wilmington’s most anticipated events are filled with food, culture, and festival fun! Grab your family and friends and take advantage of the beautiful summer evenings at these three annual festivals.

Beginning June 5th is Wilmington’s annual Greek Festival. For five days, (June 5-10) the parishioners of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church take visitors on a trip to the “Old Country” where just by closing your eyes, you can imagine yourself in a Greek village where locals are celebrating. Join in the fun as you take in the aromas of authentic Greek foods, the sounds of ethnic music playing and the footwork of Greek Terpsichorean Youth Folk dance group. Opa!

Following the Greek Festival is the annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival on June 11-18. This premier week-long festival celebrates the many facets of Italian culture, music and food. Each year, the festival highlights a different region of Italy and the cuisine and culture of that locale. This celebration is one of the largest of its kind on the East Coast! Mangia, mangia!

If you’re looking to put an end to those sweet tooth cravings the warm weather brings, take part in this year’s annual Ice Cream Festival June 24th at Rockwood Park & Museum! This quintessential summer festival features plenty of ice cream, live local music, kids' activities, family entertainment, local vendors, fantastic food, museum tours, fireworks, and more! It’s a wonderful day full of sweet fun.

If these festivals aren't enough... enjoy more festival fun coming all summer long.
