The Ladybug Music Festival is back again in Wilmington, Delaware for another fantastic free community summer event! This highly anticipated annual event will be on Friday, June 2nd from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The 2023 festival will showcase over 30 different female-fronted bands, duos, and singer-songwriters performing simultaneously in 7 venues, (4 venues and 3 outdoor stages) held throughout the 400 and 500 blocks of Market Street! The festival organizers are excited to announce their headliner will be ”A Southern Gothic’s” Adia Victoria, nominated for two American Music Awards and 2022 Emerging Act of the Year + Album of the Year.

Also on the main stage will be Nitro Nitra, a local rocker featured on NBC's "American Song Contest". New this year to the festival is DJ Shadylady. She will be spinning from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the FREE pre-party in Willingtown Square next to the recently opened boutique hotel – The Quoin Hotel (pronounced “coin”) and at the official after-party at Stitch House Brewery, from 10:30 p.m.  until 12:30 a.m. ., also FREE!"

The venues for this year, include: the Main Stage (on 4th and Market facing up toward Rodney Square), the Wilingtown Square Outdoor Stage, the 5th Street Stage, The Quoin Hotel Rooftop, The Crown at the Queen, Merchant Bar, and Farmer and the Cow.  

The Ladybug Music Festival was launched back in 2012 and has become an annual celebration of women in the music industry! The Festival features an all-female lineup of artists who are local to both Wilmington, Delaware and Philadelphia and from around the country. Ladybug became so successful that it expanded exponentially in 2018 and has since become one of the most popular events in Wilmington. With attendance doubling every single year, this Festival has become the largest celebration of women in the United States. Ladybug Music Festival continues to inspire and empower women in the music industry.
