Exercise and Bike the Brandywine!
It’s time to get out and explore the scenery, glimpse the history and discover the lure of the Brandywine Creek Greenway. Take a trip through four loops with distances ranging from 25-80 miles. No need to be a seasoned cyclist – recreational cyclists are welcome as well!
It’s never too early to think about ghosts and goblins! On your next visit to Wilmington check out Brandywine River Museum of Art’s exhibition of paintings by Peter Paone. Halloween has always been a fascination for the artist and has produced a series devoted to the theme.
Bonus Event: Art on the Green
Attracting more than 200 artists, crafters and food vendors, this annual show will be held September 28th in Historic New Castle’s Battery Park. Rain date is October 5th.
