Go behind the scenes of gunpowder manufacturing, snack food favorites, and a popular TV shopping channel in this fun and entertaining one-day itinerary.
This tour starts at Hagley Museum and Library, home to the the original gunpowder mills used by the du Pont family in 1802 and the start of the international chemical company we know today.
Stop number two on this behind the scenes itinerary is the family-owned and operated Herr's Snack Factory. Since 1946 the Herr's family has been supplying potato chips and dozens of other snack food favorites. You'll see snacks made from start to finish and maybe even get a hot and fresh sample right off the production line.
Finally, end your day at QVC Studio Park near West Chester, PA and home to 58,000 square feet of television studio space. You may get to see a QVC program in progress or even meet your favorite host or guest.
