Mid-Atlantic Food + Wine Feast
February 23 - 26, 2012

In one transformational weekend, February 23 to 26, 2012, you can take part in an international food and wine experience never before seen in the Greater Wilmington, Delaware region. - Food prepared by chefs across the globe

- 1,000 point wine tasting featuring ten 100-point wines
- Live wine auction including rare and collectible wines
- 7-course or 5-course dinners - Each course prepared by a visiting chef assisted by a regional chef, and paired with wines from a visiting winemaker.

Art on the Town
Wilmington's Monthly Art Loop
Join like-minded art enthusiasts each month for a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums and alternative art spaces throughout the greater Downtown Wilmington area. Art on the Town makes it easy to join in on the fun, just follow the simple steps below. 1. Review the many gallery options listed in the Art on the Town magazine, website, or Facebook page, and choose the openings you want to attend.
2. Choose your method of transportation.
Choice A: The Art on the Town shuttle is a free service that offers riders the option of a guided tour of pre-selected galleries departing from the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts at 5:45 PM only, or the continuous downtown bus that connects the Riverfront, 9th & Market, 6th & Market, and 2nd & Market areas of the Art Loop.
Choice B: Self-guides tours are a go-at-your-own pace option and offer more freedom to visit openings not featured on the bus route.
3. Join in on the re:Fresh monthly after party.Art on the Town is offered the first Friday of the month from 5:30 to 8:00 PM and the 2nd Friday of the month on holiday weekends.
Hockessin Arts Festival
February 24 - 26, 2012

The Wilmington & Western Railroad's Hockessin Art Festival is an annual fundraising effort to benefit the railroad, now entering its 46th year of tourist service.
The event is held at the Hockessin Memorial Hall in Hockessin, Delaware and has over 25 artists displaying and selling original works of art. A wide range of styles and prices will be available, with 30% of all art sales going directly to the operation of the Wilmington & Western Railroad!
