Zoo Mural Open House - "Meet the Artist" - Wilmington Art Loop Education Building (across from the main zoo entrance) The interior of the Brandywine Zoo's education facility has become a floor-to-ceiling multi-dimensional mural depicting natural earth habitats with wildlife. The "teaching mural," by artist Dan Gotel, is intended as a visual aid in zoo education programs for all ages to highlight the interconnectivity of natural resources and living things. The mural was completed by the artist in April 2010 after five months of painting and weeks of planning with zoo naturalists. FREE
