Greater Wilmington, Delaware is located mid-way between New York City and Washington, D.C. - approximately 100 miles in each direction.Getting Here...
By Train: All north-south Amtrak trains, including the Acela Express, stop in Wilmington. Also SEPTA's R-2 commuter trains to/from Philadelphia in the north and Newark, DE in the south. Over 70 trains stop in Wilmington every day. The Amtrak train station is located at Martin Luther King Blvd. and French Street.
By Plane:
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) - 20 minutes by car to Downtown Wilmington.
New Castle County Airport (ILG): private aircraft and
charters - 10 minutes by car to downtown Wilmington. Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport - 90 minutes by car to downtown Wilmington.By Car: Greater Wilmington and the Brandywine Valley is easily accessible by I-95, from Pennsylvania or Maryland and points south, or by I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike via the Delaware Memorial Bridge from New Jersey and points north.
