"We held our fifty-first regional conference at the Doubletree Hotel on Concord Pike on March 7 - 8, 2008. The Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau provided us with 500 bags, brochures and pens. We also received a small quantity of book lights. The staff from the Convention & Visitors Bureau set up an information table at the conference to provide our members with information about Wilmington and to assist them with their questions. We were extended overwhelming hospitality by the Doubletree Hotel on Concord Pike. However, we will hold the conference at the Downtown Doubletree in 2009 due to their Ballroom capacity. We extend our sincere appreciation to you and the staff of the Bureau for helping to make this one of the best conferences in our fifty-two years of existence.
